Some major cities in England will receive funding from the Youth Contract to use over the next three years to help young people into lasting employment. The largest award, £5.9 million, is to Liverpool, with £5.8 million to Manchester, but funding also includes £5 million for Sheffield City Region, £4.6 million for Leeds and £4 million for Birmingham.
