Prospects staff complete charity challenges
Congratulations to Rebecca McIlgorm, Senior Sales Support Assistant in Barrow, who shaved her head at the weekend in order to raise money and awareness for The Lymphoma Association. Her sister is undergoing very aggressive treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Rebecca wants to support her sister in any way that she can through this life-changing period.
Rebecca said of her experience,"It feels very strange at the moment and my head feels cold and as if my hair is wet! I am sure I will get used to it in time. My little boy isn't fazed by it but my husband isn't too keen. Hopefully it will grow back soon enough!"
Rebecca's hair has been sent to the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair. You can show your support for Rebecca by donating at www.justgiving.com/Rebecca-Rogan1
Congratulations are also in order for Paul Welch, who completed the Boston Half Marathon in an impressive 1 hour and 37 minutes. Paul said, "I want to say 'Thank you!' to everyone who has sponsored me. I have raised over £600 for SANDS, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity."
If you want to make a donation, the JustGiving site is still live at www.justgiving.com/Paul-Welch1
