Prospects plans activities to mark Employability Day
This Friday, 14 July, is Employability Day in the UK. The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the work of members of ERSA, the employment related services association. Prospects, as a member, is running a number of activities in London and the South West where we deliver the government's Work Programme, supporting people who are long term unemployed back into the workforce.
In London Prospects is celebrating the work we do supporting those who are in low paid work or have few opportunities to progress, and older workers aged 50 plus.
In the South West Prospects will be hosting managers from a number of prisons who will be hearing from Prospects Regional Director, Nicola Squibb, and her team on the ways Prospects supports ex-offenders in the community. The South West also have a charity fun day taking place in Taunton where customers, colleagues and local employers will be trying to cycle 130 miles from Prospects to Parliament as the crow flies, to raise funds for Mind.
