Prospects senior managers contributed last week to the Work & Pensions Committee's 'Inquiry into Youth Unemployment and the Youth Contract'. The committee's inquiry is considering the government's approach and examining lessons learned from other approaches, such as the previous government's Future Jobs Fund. It will also assess the relative merits of job subsidies, apprenticeships and work experience placements and how the Youth Contract will be coordinated between departments, local authorities, agencies and employment services providers.
