Prospects Services for Adults
Prospects offers a wide range of information, advice and guidance services to adults, mainly through Next Step, often co-located with Jobcentre Plus. Advisers can help with anything related to careers and learning - how to get on at work, finding what career is right for you, getting the job you want. Support includes information on financial help, developing skills and qualifications, and pinpointing key skills and interests through individual career assessment tools.

Prospects holds the Prime Contract to manage and deliver the adult information and advice service, branded as Next Step across Greater London. The service has two elements: universal, for all clients aged 20+ and targeted, support for clients with lower skills levels or requiring additional help. Our specialist advisers help with choosing education and training courses, career planning, developing winning CVs and job search. Prospects provides advisers in every Jobcentre in London. Visit http://www.nextsteplondonnews.co.uk/ for subcontractor information.

Offender Learning and Support
Prospects provides careers information and advice services (CIAS) to offenders in custody in nine London prisons, through OLASS, the Offender Learning and Skills Service. We support offenders from the beginning of their sentence through to resettlement in the community.
Our aim is to get offenders into employment to reduce re-offending. Our strategy involves training Next Step advisers, working with offenders in the community and creating stronger links with agencies delivering services in prisons. As we have the prime contracts for both Next Step and OLASS IAG, we are in a unique position to develop synergy between support in prison and the community, providing a highly effective, integrated service.
Prospects provides services in Brixton, Belmarsh, Wandsworth, Pentonville, Holloway, Latchmere House and Wormwood Scrubs. We also help young offenders at Feltham Young Offenders Institution and were part of the planning team for the first new youth offender institution for over 20 years, ISIS, opened in summer 2010.
