Prospects is the prime provider delivering two ESF funded contracts that support low paid workers in Central and North and East London. The overall aim of the programme is to upskill participants to progress toward a better future through increased overall income and job security. The programme provides participants with a combination of regulated and non-regulated training to equip employees with new skills or refresh existing ones. Ultimately, the goal is to progress every participant towards the London Living Wage by increasing their hourly rate or moving them from zero hour contracts to contracts of fixed hours, which in turn gives them greater security.
ESF Older Workers
Prospects provides specialist employability support to older workers (those aged 50 or over) in the London boroughs of Sutton, Merton, Kingston and Richmond. This programme is a voluntary programme for unemployed or economically inactive residents of the four boroughs and is co-funded by the Department for Work and Pensions and the European Social Fund.
